Art In Bloom - A Valentine's Celebration
Our first annual “Art in Bloom” event was a huge success! Our merchant florists and nurseries set up beautiful displays. Special thanks to all of our wonderful vendors who helped make this possible: AFFORDABLE FLOWERS, ROBBINS NURSERY, THE FLOWER BOX, LORD’S FARM AND NURSERY, HOBBY HILL FLORIST, RIDGE FLORIST, and MCCLANE’S COUNTRY GARDENS.
There were lots of visitors despite the sometimes ferocious winds from the lake.
Thanks to all of the HAL artists, and HAL’s Gals and Pals for their beautiful floral themed painting, and all of our volunteers for their hard work. Thanks to Alan Homes with Edward Jones for donating the water.

Thank you’s to Anne Watson, Shirley Stone, Pamela Paralakis, and HAL’s Gals and Pals for the wonderful job of publicizing the “Art in Bloom” Valentine’s Day Sale. They did photo shoots at the Flower Box and at Robbins Nursery with everyone painting lovely florals and plants.
Shirley Stone and Samantha Miller appeared on the Barry Foster show February 3, discussing our “Art in Bloom” event and all of the changes at the Art League.
The Hanging Committee, wizards Mary Boutellier and Linda Schneider, did a wonderful job for “Art in Bloom.” Flowers were everywhere at Yellow House!
